WHEN STRESS BECOMES YOUR NORMAL

You may find yourself:

WHAT CHRONIC STRESS CAN LOOK LIKE

Chronic stress affects both the mind and body. It may show up as:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry 
  • Difficulty sleeping or staying asleep 
  • Chronic fatigue 
  • Muscle tension and headaches 
  • Digestive concerns 
  • Emotional overwhelm 
  • Difficulty concentrating 
  • Feeling emotionally numb or disconnected 
  • Increased use of substances or unhealthy coping strategies 
  • A persistent feeling of being "on" all the time 


When stress remains unresolved for long periods, the nervous system can begin to operate as though danger is always present, making it difficult to feel calm, safe, or grounded.

I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that combines somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, Compassionate Inquiry®, and person-centred therapy.


Together, we explore the experiences, patterns, beliefs, and nervous system responses that may be contributing to chronic stress.


Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, our work helps you understand how stress shows up in your life and develop healthier ways to respond to it.


Through increased awareness, self-compassion, and nervous system regulation, it becomes possible to move from surviving to living with greater balance, resilience, and ease.
