My life was a mess. I had a choice, continue living in ignorance or wake up and live consciously. I started working with a spiritual psychotherapist who introduced me to Buddhism and Reiki. My healing journey had begun.
After completing my degree in Sociology, I returned to school for my Post-Grad in Addiction Counselling. During this time, I started working with N.D. Sat Dharam Kaur introduced me to the world of yoga, specifically Kundalini Yoga.
Yoga started to change my life. My allergies disappeared, digestive issues cleared, and I experienced healing on all levels from this spiritual practice. I had to learn more and pursue my first Yoga Teacher Training in Kundalini Yoga.
My thirst for knowledge led me to Peru, where I deepened how Eastern philosophies treat substance misuse.

I started embodying who I am as a Metis woman. Learning about where I come from and who my people are is a true gift to my soul.
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”

~ All My Relations ~
I am a Métis woman, and my people come from the Abenaki First Nation in Kebec (Quebec). I was born in Mi'kma'ki (Halifax, Nova Scotia), the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. However, I call Nottawasaga (Wasaga Beach, Ontario) - the traditional territory of the Anishnaabe people of the Three Fires Confederacy home. I want to acknowledge that I am currently working, living, and playing on the traditional territories of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation (Whitehorse, Yukon).
