Michelle Peddle, RP, DCP
Registered Psychotherapist | Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy
I help adults across Ontario navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, emotional overwhelm, grief, addiction, and life transitions through a compassionate, nervous system-informed approach to psychotherapy.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to offer a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as we gently explore what has brought you here. Together, we work toward greater understanding, healing, and meaningful change.
As a Registered Psychotherapist with a Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy and more than 16 years of counselling experience, I provide virtual psychotherapy across Ontario and in-person psychotherapy in Georgian Bay.
Healing happens when we feel safe enough to reconnect with ourselves.
My work integrates Compassionate Inquiry®, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and yoga therapy to help clients understand the deeper roots of anxiety, trauma, addiction, depression, and emotional overwhelm.
Together, we explore not only symptoms but also the experiences, beliefs, protective patterns, and nervous system responses that may be contributing to your current struggles.
I believe healing is possible when we approach ourselves with curiosity, compassion, and courage.
I am a proud Métis woman born in Mi'kma'ki (Halifax, Nova Scotia), the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. I have lived across Canada and now call Georgian Bay home.
My traditional name is Yellow Turtle Woman, and I am a member of the Marten Clan. My cultural identity informs my work and helps me create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive space for clients from all backgrounds.
