WHAT IS SOMATIC THERAPY?

Somatic therapy is a body-centred approach to psychotherapy that recognizes the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and nervous system.


Rather than focusing only on thoughts and behaviours, somatic therapy helps you become aware of physical sensations, nervous system responses, emotions, and patterns held within the body.


By bringing compassionate attention to these experiences, healing can occur at a deeper level.
