You may find yourself:
Trauma can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, and the people around you. Even when life appears stable on the outside, you may find yourself struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, people-pleasing, perfectionism, burnout, or a persistent sense that something isn't quite right.
Many people living with the effects of trauma don't think of themselves as having experienced trauma. Instead, they struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, burnout, relationship difficulties, or a persistent feeling of disconnection.
You may notice:
My work integrates Compassionate Inquiry, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and person-centred therapy. Together, we explore not only what happened to you, but how those experiences continue to affect your nervous system, relationships, emotions, and beliefs about yourself.
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we gently explore the deeper patterns that may have developed as survival strategies. Healing often begins when we can approach these patterns with curiosity, compassion, and understanding.
I Support Adults Experiencing
Many of the clients I work with are living with the effects of complex trauma, including childhood experiences, emotional neglect, chronic stress, relationship wounds, and experiences that have shaped how they see themselves and the world around them.
Trauma therapy is not about reliving every painful experience from the past. It is about creating safety, building self-awareness, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been lost along the way.
Clients often report:
Together we work to understand and regulate the nervous system, creating greater capacity for connection, resilience, and self-trust.
Healing does not require you to have everything figured out before you begin. If you're curious about whether trauma therapy may be helpful, I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation. Together, we can explore what you're looking for and whether we are a good fit to work together.
I provide trauma therapy for adults throughout Ontario through secure virtual sessions. In-person appointments are also available in Port Severn, serving Georgian Bay, Midland, Muskoka, Orillia, Barrie, and surrounding communities.
